Good news everyone! Our next AND All-Alum meeting will be on Sunday, September 19, 2010. For those of you who can make it, we will first meet at for Mass at St. Henry's Church at 10:30 AM.  http://www.psichurch.com/churches/051sthenry/

Then, we will go to Althoff around 11:30ish to view our AND room. As some of you remember, there is a drive to name a room in the renovated Althoff High School in honor of AND    . http://www.althoff.net/

We are very close to our first goal, so we are proceeding with  plans for the dedication. Hope you can make it. If you can come, let me know. There will be light refreshments at Althoff and we'd like a ballpark number. BTW, if you have any pictures or other memorabilia that you'd like to share, let us know.                       Contact: Marilyn Kinsella

Here are your challenges - Write to me and tell me -

1. What was going on in the world while you were at the Academy - Vatican II? Cardinals win the series? astronauts in space? war? Did any outside news impact the Academy? Marilyn Kinsella

2. Trivia: Name the three buildings that were constructed at the 6401 West Main site.  (Answer below)

From Left to Right, They are Judy Lawrence, Janice Klein Walters, Carol Helfrich, Joyce Grogan, Helen Scheibel All were AND graduates in 1959. Thanks to Jan Walters for naming these Alum.

3. Have you seen this statue? It was the Our Lady of Lourdes that was in the grotto at the back of AND. But where is it now? Do you know? We'd like to find it and, perhaps, develop a peace garden for it.

The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”     Eleanor Roosevelt
